Wearing: Free People Melrose Maxi Dress | ASOS Choker

Photography by Shaye Babb | Instagram

When people ask me how to describe my personal style so many adjectives come to mind. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed experimenting with clothes. Some days I prefer to dress feminine, while other days I like a more masculine or structured look. This all depends on my mood, so I never know what I will feel like wearing until I wake up in the morning. I view myself as a chameleon when it comes to my dressing habits.

When I woke up on this particular morning, I gravitated towards the bohemian and flowing items in my wardrobe. My energetic mood needed to be complimented by bold floral prints. Whenever I am in the mood for some boho, I naturally grab anything in my closet that is from Free People. After all, they are the boho gods of the fashion world. Everything Free People designs is such a dream. When I found this beautiful blooming caftan-style maxi dress I instantly felt elevated. The swirling blue flowers and the flowing bell sleeves made this item feel eloquent, and the cut-outs in the back made the dress feel modern and playful, complimenting my mood once again.

If you had to describe your personal style what would you say?

That dress is just stunning, and you look wonderful! I think my personal style can be explained in a similar manner. Is usually a bit more bohemian, but it shifts from dark to bright, depending on my mood. And I agree, Free People is a dream!

OMG this dress is amazing! I love the print and the backside, so gorgeous! 😀
My style was chaotic at first, I wanted to experiment everything, but then I started to realise that I am more on the elegant, vintage, feminine side, that is what I like most.

My style is all over the place, lol. I’m like you, where it really depends on my mood (or where I’m going) so I feel wrong putting myself into one category, at least for now. Really love the backside of this dress it’s so pretty! And as always, your photos are stunning 🙂

I feel the exact same when it comes to my own personal style, too, though I think I’ve found a common thread that ties my sartorial preferences lately. The dress looks absolutely gorgeous, and oh, that choker is something I need in my collection! You’re an absolute beauty, Jac! x
