My Desk ft. Ankit Accessories

When it comes to my room, I like to keep things extremely minimalistic and clean. If you couldn’t tell already, I love when everything is white. From my blankets to all my furniture, it instantly makes my room feel brighter. I am always changing up my space and playing around with how I display my accessories. Some of my favorite items in my room at the moment are my ‘vacation fund mason jar’ from Ankit, and of course my cacti plants!

Botanical Keyhole Dress

This floral dress is pumping me up for the spring. I sported it while I was galavanting around Florida for a quick trip. I would do anything to be back in it right now, under the beaming sun. I absolutely love how unique this dress is. How it effortlessly wraps around my shoulders, creating a beautiful open back.

Plunging Neckline

The plunging neckline on this dress came off a little intimidating at first glance. Despite my initial hesitation, I couldn’t stop staring at the mixed patterns. I was completely mesmerized by them. To make the look more day appropriate and boho I decided it would work seamlessly with my wrap necklace from Urban Outfitters. With festival season just around the corner, I am sure we will be seeing this style a lot.

Maho Shades

It’s hard to get me to veer away from my go-to sunglasses. My Lennon Ray Bans have practically become an essential part of my personal style. However, when I saw these sunglasses from Maho I knew they would become my new staple. The steel support bar adds a unique element to the traditional rounded frame.

Shirt Dress

As the weekend is winding down I am so thankful I spent the past two days in my creative element. It is so important to take time for yourself, doing whatever it may be that you love. I start to feel slightly robotic if I am not creating or deepening my knowledge. At the end of the day you are living for yourself, and feeding your soul is essential to your happiness.

Floral Wrap Dress

New York got a little taste of heaven today. The sun was beaming, and I was naturally in the happiest mood. The best part about it? Tomorrow is going to be even nicer. I couldn’t wait to pull out this floral printed wrap dress. I styled it with my chunky combat boots, because it still doesn’t feel right wearing sandals in March.. no matter how hot it gets.

Grey Faux-Suede

Grey has become my new neutral. Instead of picking the darkest hues in my wardrobe (my obsession with black is undeniable…) I have been gravitating towards lighter shades. When I found this beautiful faux-suede shift dress from BCBG I couldn’t wait to sport it up with a grey cropped top and white sneakers.

Flowing Bell Sleeves

When people ask me how to describe my personal style so many adjectives come to mind. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed experimenting with clothes. Some days I prefer to dress feminine, while other days I like a more masculine or structured look. This all depends on my mood, so I never know what I will feel like wearing until I wake up in the morning.

Off the Shoulder Top

These past few months have been crazy. I don’t think I have stayed in one place for more than two weeks at a time. Once again, I escaped New York and headed somewhere so my body could defrost. I love you New York, but your weather is unbearable! I am so happy to be soaking in the sun once again, wearing some of my favorite breezy pieces.

New Romantics

Happy Valentine’s day friends! Today I will be relaxing in bed catching up on some Netflix. For me, Valentine’s Day isn’t a holiday just for couples, although it can easily feel that way. It is a day to reflect on those you love, and tell them how much you appreciate them. It shouldn’t take Valentine’s Day to express your feelings to those that matter most. Regardless, it’s a great excuse to eat chocolate and celebrate!

Join the Dance

“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” Thank you Alan Watts for inspiring my mind. I am at a point in my life where I can either go left or right, the decision is entirely mine. It is exciting and frightening all in one. It becomes too easy to remain stagnant and do what everyone else is doing. Is comfort really all that pleasing? I need thrill, movement, and change to electrify my life. Wherever I end up, at least I took the plunge.

Circle Specs

Circle specs have stolen my heart. Changing up your glasses is the easiest way to update your look. I purchased these new babies from Garrett Leight. I styled them with my ribbed turtleneck dress from Urban Outfitters. I have currently been hanging out in Florida for the past month. Unfortunately it has been pretty chilly, so I was relieved that I brought this dress with me!

Gaucho Sur

If you love traditional and timeless clothing as much as I do, you are going to love the up-and-coming brand Gaucho Sur. Gaucho Sur is a contemporary women’s lifestyle brand inspired by the classic South American cowboy, “the Gaucho.” The laid-back style clearly evokes the South American culture. After getting my hands on a few of their pieces, I knew that this brand was special.
