Lace-up Boots

These lace-up boots from Public Desire are everything. They are super sexy and instantly spice up any look. I styled mine with this long-line vest to make my look more day appropriate, but I can’t wait to play them up for a night out!

Longline Car Coat

My search for the perfect longline coat came to a halt when I found this one from Forever 21. This style is super hot right now, and I am excited to pair it with a hooded sweatshirt next! I finished my look off with my Adidas Superstar Rize sneakers, which I am scrubbing religiously after every wear.

Aero Vintage T-Shirts

My best friend Stefani Rose has been immensely involved in rebranding Aeropostale. As the Associate Manager of Social Media, she is responsible for running both sub brand accounts Live Love Dream and Tokyo Darling, while still creating content for Aero. For this shoot, Stefani worked with my brother to create lifestyle images for Aero’s vintage t-shirt collection. I had a lot of fun modeling the t-shirts as well as watching Stefani’s vision for the shoot come to life. This campaign was shot during our trip to Acadia National Park in Maine, a trip I will definitely never forget.

Button-Down + Tuxedo Scarf

For this look I played with a typically classic button-down shirt by adding a tuxedo skinny scarf from Free People. I love the idea of feminizing a button-down! I think you can have so much fun styling it.

Shenandoah National Park

My unexpected visit to Shenandoah National Park left me speechless. My mother and I kept stopping while driving through the mountains to soak in the endless beauty. It was the perfect time of the year to do the skyline drive, as the leaves were more vibrant than ever. Moments like this make me realize how important it is to travel. There are still so many places I want to explore within the United States. This is just the beginning.

In the Mountains

Spontaneous adventures are the most fulfilling. Unplanned moments make me appreciate life for what it is. It is so easy to get caught up in a routine and look at each day as a job. If you wake up feeling unhappy.. change it. Life is too beautiful to waste. As imperfect humans our mind cannot be filled with utter bliss every minute. However, I am striving each day to practice a positive mind and appreciate the beauty around me.

Interior: Texture

This past weekend I went to North Carolina to go to High Point Market, the largest home furnishing trade show in the world! It was a great experience browsing a number of showrooms and seeing how each of their styles vary. More importantly, it really made me begin to think about how I want to decorate my apartment when I move to New York next year. For one, texture is so important. I love anything rustic and woodsy. I noticed I gravitated towards pieces that weren’t too polished and had a more ‘lived in’ feel. The inspiration images I pulled above reflect my ideal space which combines various textures from faux fur throws to wooden tables that look as though they came straight from my backyard.

Aflame with Color

Autumn is the most beautiful season of them all. Especially in New Jersey, which has made me appreciate growing up in a state that celebrates every season. Despite my initial angst for the cooler weather, the magic that autumn brings makes the seasonal transition easier. Along with this transition comes sporting flannels, sipping hot coffee, and staying warm in oversized scarves. When I found this scarf from Free People this past week, I knew it would become a staple in my wardrobe.

Leather + Linen

I transitioned this breezy linen top into Fall by pairing it with my favorite leather jacket and ripped cigarette jeans. I finished my look off with these buckled Stuart Weitzman booties and my iridescent studded Wang bag.

The Highest Point

I have watched Jon’s photography tremendously evolve within the last year. His images inspire, excite and surprise me. We have been traveling together quite a bit within the past few months so I am looking forward to featuring his work more on my site. He beautifully captures the essence of each location and infuses his images with just the right amount of grunge and authenticity. These images were shot during our recent camping trip to High Point State Park, New Jersey.

Bell Sleeves

Bell sleeves are quite feminine, so to edge it up I paired it with my high-waisted ripped shorts. In my book, there is really no such thing as too much black. Sometimes wearing color makes me feel off, and it was one of those days..

All Vintage

I recently traveled to Montreal, which easily became my favorite city to date. While exploring, I stumbled upon some of the most unique stores filled with hidden gems! My friends and I stayed in Mile End, which is essentially the Brooklyn of New York. Mile End has endless vintage stores, which is where I purchased everything I am wearing in this post! I made a list below of some great vintage stores if you ever have a chance to head to Montreal. If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend it.

Camel Fringe

Fringe is in my friends! I paired this camel suede fringe piece with my ripped jeans and choker to play up my laid-back bohemian look. Finding this piece at Forever 21 was such a steal. I will be posting where to buy fringe jackets on my blog later so be sure to look out for it!
